Rampillow™ is a new approach to a time proven concept for protecting, holding and displaying antiquarian books and other fragile artefacts.

Each Rampillow comprises small pellets of archival Plastazote® heat-sealed within a durable acid-free Tyvek® cover. Simply mould the pillow to the required shape and rest the book or artefact in place.

Tyvek® is a non-woven polyethylene material that combines all the best physical properties and characteristics of paper, film, and fabric - in one material. It is strong, smooth, flexible, lightweight and pH neutral, as well as being both water resistant and breathable… the ideal material.

Ramplas is a leading supplier of Plastazote archival polyolefin foam, a material already used widely in the Museums and Galleries sector.

Rampillows are highly durable and may be used time and time again without fear of creating contamination or staining.

Readily available in three standard sizes; Small (305mm x 305mm) Medium (457mm x 457mm) and Large (610mm x 610mm) Rampillows can also be manufactured to custom sizes on request.
